Reference: Conditions for Displaying External Site Content

Workday displays an admissions decision or application status on external student sites when all of the conditions for that decision or status are true. You can use the
Maintain External Site Content
 task to configure the text that displays on the external site for an application grouping.
Admissions Decision or Application Status
Conditions
Admitted
  • You've rendered a decision of Admit for the applicant.
  • The
    Publish Application Grouping Event
     business process is complete for the application.
  • You've configured Admitted text for the application grouping.
Admitted Accepted
  • The
    Disable Decision Response
     check box is clear for the application grouping.
  • The admitted applicant accepted the offer of admission.
  • You've configured Admitted Accepted text for the application grouping.
Admitted Declined
  • The
    Disable Decision Response
     check box is clear for the application grouping.
  • The admitted applicant declined the offer of admission.
  • You've configured Admitted Declined text for the application grouping.
Denied
  • You've rendered a decision of Deny for the applicant.
  • The
    Publish Application Grouping Event
     business process is complete for the application.
  • You've configured Denied text for the application grouping.
Withdrawn
  • The
    Student Application Withdraw Event
     business process is complete.
  • You've configured Withdrawn text for the application grouping.
Decision Pending
  • The
    Admissions Evaluation Event
     business process is complete.
  • You haven't published an admissions decision for the application.
  • You've configured Decision Pending text for the application grouping.
  • You've selected the
    Publish Decision Pending Status
     check box for the application grouping.
  • The applicant doesn't have a status of Waitlisted or Defer Decision.
Committee Review
  • The
    Admissions Evaluation Event
     business process has reached the
    Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
     shared participation step.
  • You've configured Committee Review text for the application grouping.
  • You've selected the
    Publish Committee Review Status
     check box for the application grouping.
Under Review
  • The
    Admissions Evaluation Event
     business process is in progress.
  • If you've configured text for Committee Review, that text displays for the
    Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
     step. The text for Under Review displays while all other steps are in progress.
  • If you haven't configured text for Committee Review, the text for Under Review displays for all steps in the business process, including
    Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
    .
  • You've configured Under Review text for the application grouping.
  • You've selected the
    Publish Under Review Status
     check box for the application grouping.
Defer Decision
(You've manually assigned a status of Defer Decision using these tasks:
  • Assign Waitlist or Defer Decision Status
  • Mass Assign Waitlist or Defer Decision Status
OR
The
Admissions Evaluation Event
 business process is complete and either of these conditions are true:
  • The most recent initial internal decision is Defer Decision.
  • There's no initial internal decision, but all required decision recommendations are Defer Decision.

AND
  • You've configured Defer Decision text for the application grouping.
  • You've selected the
    Publish Defer Decision Status
     check box for the application grouping.
  • The current date is between the relevant
    Start Displaying Defer Decision Status
     and
    Stop Displaying Defer Decision Status
     dates.
  • You haven't published an admission decision for the application.
Waitlisted
(You've manually assigned a status of Waitlist using these tasks:
  • Assign Waitlist or Defer Decision Status
  • Mass Assign Waitlist or Defer Decision Status
OR
The
Admissions Evaluation Event
 business process is complete and either of these conditions are true:
  • The most recent initial internal decision is Waitlist.
  • There's no initial internal decision, but all required decision recommendations are Waitlist.

AND
  • You've configured Waitlisted text for the application grouping.
  • You've selected the
    Publish Waitlisted Status
     check box for the application grouping.
  • The current date is between the relevant
    Start Displaying Waitlist Status
     and
    Stop Displaying Waitlist Status
     dates.
  • You haven't published an admission decision for the application.
