Concept: Guidelines for Student Recruiting Regions

When you set up regions with the
Create Recruiting Regions
task:
  • Workday can assign a prospect to more than 1 recruiting region when regions have overlapping criteria.
  • Enter the most granular criteria in each row.
Example: If you enter a postal code or educational institution, don’t also enter the city and state.
  • Don't create rows with overlapping criteria.
Example: If you create a row for Georgia, don't add another row for Atlanta.
  • If you enter a
    City
    without selecting a
    State/Province
, the region will include prospects in all cities with the same name.
  • The combination of criteria you enter in the same row must be valid.
Example: If you select Ohio as the
    State
    , and a
    Postal Code
in Indiana, Workday can't automatically assign prospects to the region.
  • A prospect must meet all criteria in at least 1 row of the
    Geographic Criteria
grid to be assigned to the region you're defining.
Example: Prospects must live in Portland, Oregon:
    Country
    State/Province
    City
    Postal Code Set
    Postal Code
    Educational Institution District
    Educational Institution
    United States of America

    • Live in Portland, Oregon.
    • Attend a school in the Portland Public Schools district.
