Steps: Change Decision Details When Rendering Decisions
You can admit applicants to campuses or programs of study that they didn't originally
apply to. Decision policies enable you to use eligibility criteria to change the
campus or program of study of applications automatically when you render
decisions.
Examples:
- Change the program of study for admitted first-year applicants who are applying to Engineering with less than 25 on the ACT to Pre-Engineering.
- Change the campus for admitted transfer applicants with a grade point average (GPA) of less than 2.5 to Regional.
- Edit Business Processes.Business ProcessDescriptionStudent Application Decision Policy EventAdd the Evaluate Campus Location Decision Policy service step, the Evaluate Program of Study Decision Policy service step, or both.On the Reconcile Decision Details step, assign a security group to resolve situations where the policy result fails validation rules.
