Steps: Set Up Mass Operations for Application Processing
Configure these business processes and security policies in the Admissions functional area:
- Mass Student Application Decision Update Event.
- Publish Application Grouping Event. To prevent the mass operation from publishing erroneous admissions decisions, Workday strongly recommends that you configure a Publish Application Grouping Decisions action step for the business process. This step gives you a chance to verify that the decisions are accurate before publishing them.
You can use a mass operation to render or finalize decisions for specific groups of student applications. Custom reports enable you to define the applications to process, such as applications with an SAT score above 1400.
You can:
- Schedule the mass operation to run on a regular basis to process applications as they become eligible.
- Run the mass operation as needed whenever you're ready to render or finalize decisions.
