Steps: Create Admissions Committees

You can configure admissions committees to enable multiple reviewers to evaluate student applications simultaneously. You can assign multiple application pools to an admissions committee but only 1 admissions committee to an application pool.
  1. For the
    Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
     action step, select a security group to override the admissions committee process and move the evaluation to the next step.
  2. Edit Business Processes.
    • Add a
      Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
       shared participation step to the
      Admissions Evaluation Event
       business process.
    • Select a security group in the
      Group
       prompt to override the admissions committee process and move the evaluation to the next step.
  3. Set Up Assignable Roles.
    Add a row for admissions committee evaluators to ensure that Workday assigns roles for admissions committees and skips the
    Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
     step in the
    Admissions Evaluation Event
     business process.
    As you complete the task, consider:

  4. As you complete the task, consider:

    Type of Tenanted Security Group
    Select
    Role-Based Security Group (Unconstrained)

    Assignable Role

    Admissions Committee Evaluator
    .
  5. Edit Domain Security Policies.
    Assign View and Modify permissions to the security group with the
    Admissions Committee Evaluator
     assignable row to enable access to the
    Manage: Student Application Review
     domain.
  6. Activate Pending Security Policy Changes.
  7. Access the
    Create Admissions Committee
     task.
    As you complete the task, consider:
    Option Description
    Application Pools to Evaluate
    Select the application pools that the admissions committee can evaluate.
    When you copy an application pool, you also copy its admissions committee. When the new application pool requires a different admissions committee, remove the application pool from the admissions committee before you copy the application pool.
    Required Number of Evaluations
    Enter the number of evaluations that the admissions committee must complete before the
    Admissions Evaluation Event
     business process progresses to the next step.
    Security:
    Manage: Admissions Committee Evaluation
     domain in the Admissions functional area.
  8. From the related actions menu of the admissions committee, select
    Roles
    Assign Roles
    .
    As you complete the task, consider:

    Role
    Select
    Admissions Committee Evaluator
    .
    Assigned To
    Select the members of the admissions committee.
When the
Admissions Evaluation Event
 business process reaches the
Manage Admissions Committee Evaluation
 step, Workday routes the evaluation to members of the admissions committee that is associated with the relevant application pool.
