Generate Workbooks for Application Groupings

  • Create applicant score scales and application GPAs.
  • Set up Drive.
  • Set up Worksheets.
  • Create custom reports or enable existing reports to use in Worksheets.
  • Security:
    Manage Student Worksheets
     domain in the Admissions functional area.
Generate workbooks to calculate applicant scores and application GPAs based on your formulas. You can add live data from Workday or import data from external sources to the workbook to use in your calculations.
  1. Access the
    Generate Workbook for Application Grouping
     task.
  2. As you complete the task, consider:
    Option Description
    Applicant Score Scale or Student Application GPA
    For optimal worksheet performance, select only the applicant score scales and application GPAs that you need for your calculations.
    Inactive application GPAs don't display as options on the prompt.
    Additional Filter Criteria
    Narrow results to a subset of the application grouping.
    When you use a custom report, the custom report must:
    • Use
      Student Applications
       as the data source.
    • Be
      Advanced
       or
      Simple
      .
    When the custom report has a prompt, the prompt must have a default value and the
    Do Not Prompt at Runtime
     check box selected.
The workbook is available in your Drive.
Schedule when to:
  • Refresh live data on the worksheet.
  • Update student applications with the applicant score and application GPA values from the worksheet.
  • Update your worksheet with new data or new student applications.
