These are the ways Workday calculates the values used to measure a
student’s satisfactory academic progress (SAP).
SAP Measure | Description |

GPA | Workday calculates student GPA by dividing the number of
Cumulative Earned Grade Points by the number
of Cumulative GPA Completed Units . SAP GPA
calculations include all course attempts, up to the maximum number of
attempts, when courses are repeatable for additional credit. |
Pace | Workday calculates a student’s Pace by dividing the number of
Cumulative Pace Completed Units by the number
of Cumulative Attempted Units . |
Maximum Timeframe | Workday calculates a student’s Maximum Timeframe by dividing the number
of Cumulative Attempted Units by the number of
Program Minimum Coursework units. |
