Set Up College Financing Plans

Manage: Financial Aid Award Letters
 domain in the Financial Aid functional area.
You can specify information about your school to display on College Financing Plans. College Financing Plans present financial aid information such as grants, scholarships, and college costs in a standard format that the Department of Education provides. These plans help students easily compare education costs between schools.
You can use College Financing Plans in addition to, or instead of, financial aid award letters.
  1. Access the
    Create College Financing Plan Configuration
     task.
  2. Enter a
    Name
     for your College Financing Plan configuration.
  3. (Optional) In the
    Housing Calculation
     section, enter the approximate cost of on-campus and off-campus housing and meals.
  4. In the
    Financial Aid Office Contact Info
     section, enter contact information for your financial aid office.
  5. (Optional) Enter a
    Customized Information Message
     to display on the College Financing Plan.
The information you configure on this task displays on the annual College Financing Plan, along with data from the student's financial aid package.
Access the
Maintain College Financing Plan Policy
 task to assign the College Financing Plan configuration to an academic unit and level.
