Create Financial Aid Communication Rule Sets
- Create student emails that are in theFinancial Aidcategory and used for:
- Disbursements
- Packages
- Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Security:Set Up: Financial Aid Rule Sets and Policiesdomain in the Financial Aid functional area.
Specify which messages you use to notify students when you disburse financial aid funds or when their satisfactory academic progress (SAP) status changes.
- Access theCreate Financial Aid Communication Rule Settask.
- Add a row in theSend to Email - Prioritygrid for each email type to which to send financial aid communications and arrange them in priority order.If a student doesn't have the first email type, Workday sends emails to the next type. If a student doesn't have any of the defined email types, Workday doesn't send the student any emails defined in this rule set.

Workday also sends this message when you override a student's SAP status toFailed.Satisfactory Academic Progress Failed Maximum TimeframeSelect a message to send when a student fails aMaximum Timeframeevaluation.Groups to ExcludeSelect the student groups to always exclude from receiving SAP communications. When you evaluate SAP, you can select additional student groups to exclude from receiving communications for that specific run.If the policy exclusion conflicts with an SAP evaluation inclusion, the policy exclusion takes precedence.
