Security:
Manage: Courses for Load Status
domain in the Financial Aid functional area.
Workday calculates each student's financial aid load status based on the courses they're registered for. You can specify which courses to include or exclude in the load status calculations. Examples:
  • Workday includes courses that a student withdraws from in their load status. However, you don't want withdrawn courses to count, so you manually exclude them.
  • You retroactively change a student's program of study, but the courses they completed previously no longer fulfill the academic requirements for their new program of study. You manually include those previous courses to count in their current load status calculation.
  1. Access the
    Attendance Plan
report on the Financial Aid profile group of the student profile.
  2. Select
    Financial Aid Period Record
    Edit Courses for Load Status
from the related actions menu of the academic period row.
  3. In the
    Override
prompt for the course, include or exclude the course in load status calculations.
Workday:
  • Recalculates the student's POS load statuses with the units from the selected courses.
  • Removes the
    Load Status
hold and resumes financial aid processes and charge assessments for the student.
  • Only recalculates the load status for the selected academic period, and doesn't update past periods.
