Reference: Final Pell Recalculation Date Examples
Workday uses these key dates to calculate the Pell load status:
- Pell Recalculation Date (PRD)
- Initial Pell Award Date (IPAD)
- Registration Date for Pell Processing (RDfPP)
- Course Section Start Date (CSSD)
- Final Pell Recalculation Date (FPRD)
This table illustrates how Workday determines the FPRD based on a period to period and student to student basis for different scenarios:
Course Type | Scenario | Example | FPRD |
|---|---|---|---|
Non-modular | The student registers for courses before the term begins, and PRD is calculated after CSSD. |
| FPRD is the PRD. |
Non-modular | The student receives the Pell award after CSSD and PRD. |
| FRPD is the IPAD. |
Non-modular | The student registers for a course after CSSD and PRD. |
| FPRD is the IRD. |
Non-modular | The student fully withdraws from the courses (RDfPP) after CSSD. |
| FRPD is the RDfPP. |
Non-modular | The student fully drops from the courses before CSSD. |
| FPRD is the PRD. |
Modular | The student registers for multiple modules. |
| FPRD is the PRD for the last module that the student registers for, that is, module C. |
Modular | The student registers for multiple modules that excludes the last module. |
| The FPRD is the PRD for the last module the student registers for, that is, module B. |
Modular | The student registers for courses in the last module of a three-module term. |
| The FPRD is the IRD. |
Modular | The student drops all courses for the registered modules before the term PRD and later re-registers for a module. |
| The FPRD is the IRD for the registrations in module C. |
Modular | The student drops all courses for the registered modules after the term PRD and later re-registers for a module. |
| The FPRD is the term PRD. |
