The
Engagement Plan Monitor
enables you to view and troubleshoot plans that have failed to send communications to their intended audience.Notification Groups
You can configure which security groups to notify when engagement plans fail on the
Engagement Plan Failures
tab on the Maintain Student Engagement Settings
task.To receive notifications, security groups must:
- Be in active status.
- Have access permissions to theManage: Sending Campus Engagementdomain in the Campus Engagement functional area.
- Have access permissions to theCategoryof the engagement plan.
View Failed Engagement Plans
When a plan fails or contains errors, Workday sends a:
- Notification on the notifications page.
- Email, when you configure theStudent Engagement Monitoring Notification Typein theSystemcategory on theEdit Tenant Setup – Notificationstask.
You can use the
Engagement Plan Monitor
report to view:
- Failed engagement plans.
- Reasons for failure.
- Resolutions.
Instances Affected
column displays the number of plans that have failed. You can drill into the number of instances to view all the plans that have failed. Then use the related actions menu to navigate to the issue and fix it.The engagement plan instance also displays critical errors and warnings.
Causes for Engagement Plans Not Sending
Workday displays warnings and alerts when your engagement plans fail to send communications. Your engagement plan can fail when the:
- AssignedRun As Usercan no longer access the report or saved search for the Student Audience.
- Custom report that defines the student audience contains prompts.
- Report that defines the student audience is set toTemporary.
- Mail coordinator for printed items is inactive.
- Recipient threshold for engagement plans exceeds the number specified.
- Engagement plan has a stop date in the next week.
