Example: Create Reports to View Academic Requirements and Configurations
Illustrates 1 way to view academic requirements and the effective date of configuration to a
specific academic unit, program of study, or program area.
You're the advising administrator for Alma Mater University. You want to understand
which academic requirements are configured to which nodes for which effective date.
You create a report to view all the academic requirements, the nodes configured to,
and the effective dates of those configurations.
- Access theCreate Custom Reporttask.Security:Custom Report Creationdomain in the System functional area.
- Enter these values:
Option Description Report NameEnterAcademic Requirement Configuration Details.Report TypeSelectAdvanced.Data SourceClear theOptimized for Performancecheck box.SelectAcademic Requirements. - ClickOK.
- On theEdit Custom Reporttask, as you complete theColumnstab, add these rows:Business ObjectFieldAcademic RequirementAcademic RequirementAcademic Requirement Assignment SnapshotAcademic Requirement Assignment SnapshotAcademic Requirement Assignment SnapshotConfigured ForAcademic Requirement Assignment SnapshotEffective Date
- (Optional) Click theOutputtab, and selectEnable as Workletif you want to display this report on a custom dashboard.From theAvailable Onprompt, select the name of the dashboard.
- Click theSharetab, and select an option for sharing the report.
- ClickOKandDone.
Run the report. View all the academic requirements, including the information for
each:
- Assignment snapshot
- The node configured for
- The effective date
(Optional) Create a dashboard to view your report.
