Example: Create Reports to View Academic Requirements Versions and Eligibility Rules

This example illustrates 1 way to view all the academic requirements in your institution by version, effective date, and associated eligibility rule.
You're the advising administrator for Alma Mater University. You want to ensure that all academic requirements are using the appropriate eligibility rules for the correct version and effective date. You create a custom report to evaluate all academic requirements by version, effective date, and the associated eligibility rule.
  1. Access the
    Create Custom Report
    task.
    Security:
    Custom Report Creation
    domain in the System functional area.
  2. Enter these values:
    Option Description
    Report Name
    Enter
    Academic Requirement Eligibility Rules by Version
    .
    Report Type
    Select
    Advanced
    .
    Data Source
    Clear the
    Optimized for Performance
    check box.
    Select
    Academic Requirement Versions
    .
  3. Click
    OK
    .
  4. On the
    Edit Custom Report
    task, as you complete the
    Columns
    tab, add these rows:
    Business Object
    Field
    Academic Requirement Version
    Academic Requirement Version
    Academic Requirement Version
    Academic Requirement
    Academic Requirement Version
    Student Eligibility Rule
    Academic Requirement Version
    Effective Date
  5. (Optional) Click the
    Output
    tab, and select
    Enable as Worklet
    if you want to display this report on a custom dashboard.
    From the
    Available On
    prompt, select the name of the dashboard.
  6. Click the
    Share
    tab, and select an option for sharing the report.
  7. Click
    OK
    and
    Done
    .
Run the report. Review academic requirement versions for each academic requirement. Access the Student Eligibility Rule related actions to view rule type, usage, and other information.
(Optional) Create a dashboard to view your report.
