Example: Create Academic Plan Reports to View Ineligible Courses

This example illustrates 1 way to view all students who have academic plans with ineligible plan items for an academic period.

You're the advising administrator for Alma Mater University. You want to view the academic plans of your advisees who aren't going to meet their academic requirements. You create a report to view the academic plans of all the students for the Spring 2022 semester with ineligible courses.

Access the

Create Custom Report

task.

As you complete the task, consider:

Option	Description
Report Name	Enter Plan Status - Ineligible Courses for Spring 2022 .
Report Type	Select Advanced .
Data Source	Select Academic Plans .

On the

Edit Custom Report

task, as you complete the

Columns

tab, add these rows:

Business Object	Field
Academic Plan	Academic Record
Academic Plan	Academic Plan
Academic Plan Items	Academic Period
Academic Plan Items	Academic Requirement
Academic Plan Items	Course
Academic Plan Items	Status

Click the

Filter

tab and add this row:

And/Or	Field	Operator
And	Academic Plan Items	is not empty

Click the

Subfilter

tab, and click

Add

Select Academic Plan Items
for

Business Object

and add these rows:

And/Or	Field	Operator	Comparison Type	Comparison Value
And	Academic Period	exact match with the selection list	Value specified in this filter	2022 Spring Semester
And	Status	exact match with the selection list	Value specified in this filter	Not Eligible

Click the

Prompts

tab, and select the

Display Prompt Values in Subtitles

check box.

Click the

tab, and select an option for sharing the report.

Run the report. View the academic plans of all the students for Spring 2022 with Not Eligible
course statuses.

(Optional) Add this report to an academic planning dashboard.
