Steps: Set Up ECRI Inbound Package Solution

Security:
Setup: Recall
 domain in the Inventory functional area. Add
Implementers
 to the
Report/Task Permissions
.
You can use Workday's Emergency Care Research Institute (ECRI) Recall Management Package Solution to create recall notifications automatically by integrating with your third-party ECRI solution. This is beneficial for healthcare users because it ensures that they can manage product recalls efficiently while enhancing patient safety and operational efficiency.
  1. Edit Domain Security Policies
    Configure the
    Setup: Recall
     domain in the Inventory functional area.
    In the
    Report/Task Permissions
     grid, select
    Implementers
    in the
    Security Groups
     prompt.
  2. You must subscribe to ECRI alerts to use the recall integration.
  3. Access the
    View Integration System
     report.
    Select the
    INT Studio ECRI Inbound
     option from the
    Integration System
     prompt.
    Security:
    Integration Build
     domain in the Integration functional area.
  4. Activate Pending Security Policy Changes.
  5. Access the
    Maintain External Transaction Source
     task.
    Enter
    ECRI
     in the name field.
    Select the
    Recall
     option from the
    Usage Area
     prompt.
    Security:
    • Set Up: Supplier
       domain in the Suppliers functional area.
    • Set Up: Procurement
       domain in the Procurement functional area.
  6. Access the
    Maintain Recall Severities
     task.
    Configure at least 2 recall severities and their corresponding required response days.
  7. Access the
    View Integration System
     report.
    Select your integration system, and select
    INT Studio ECRI Inbound
     from the
    Integration System
     prompt.
  8. From the related actions menu of the integration system, select
    Integration System
    Configure Integration Attributes
     .
    Enter
    https://api.ecri.org/alerts/v1/alerts
     for the ECRI REST Endpoint.
Recalls display on the
Recall Workbench
 task from your third-party source. You can also view the log file for any recalls that have errors.
