Configure the Reporting Model for Prism Data Sources

Field mapping exists for the Prism data source. See Create Field Mappings for Prism Data Sources.

You understand the concept of custom versions. See Concept: Custom Versions .

Security: Set up Reporting Model
domain in the System functional area.

You must configure the reporting model to include the field mappings from the Prism data source to the reporting model. After you configure this data in the reporting model, you can:

Map fields of the Instance type as dimensions in the reporting model.

Configure all mapped fields for Show Details for the specific version.

You can select multiple field mappings for a single version to include data from all the data mappings in the same version.

Example:

For the Actuals - 2024 and 2025 version, you can select these field mappings from the Prism data source to the reporting model:

In Workday, access the

Set Up Reporting Model

task.

Select

Edit Existing Reporting Data Model

and select the reporting model that you want to configure.

Click

Scroll to the

Versions

section and add a row to the table.

Version

, search for and select the version you specified in the

Create Field Mapping for Reporting Model

task.

Field Mapping

, select the appropriate field mappings for the selected version.

Scroll to the

Dimensions

section.

Click the plus icon to add a row to the table.

Search for and select any instance fields that you mapped from the Prism data source to the reporting model.

In the

Show Details

section, click

Add

In the

Version

prompt, select the version for which you want to configure Show Details fields. .

Configure the Show Details fields for the specific version.
