Troubleshooting: Adoption Item Buttons Are Missing

From the
Create from What's New
 prompt on the
Adoption Planning
 report, you can select release notes to create adoption items, but these buttons are missing, preventing you from creating adoption items:
  • Create Individual Item(s)
  • Create Item for Group
  • Link Group to Existing Item(s)
Your security group lacks
Modify
access to the
Workday What's New
 domain in the System functional area, which prevents you from creating adoption items from the
What's New in Workday
 report.
Security Administrator
  1. Edit Domain Security Policies.
    Set up the
    Workday What's New
     domain in the System functional area.
  2. In the
    Report/Task Permissions
     grid, select the
    Modify
     check box for your security group.
  3. Activate Pending Security Policy Changes.
