This example illustrates how to create a single adoption item for your roadmap from multiple features on the

What's New in Workday

report.

You're an HR Administrator with 6 months of new benefits features on the

What's New in Workday

report that you need to adopt. You want to:

Group related benefits features into a single adoption item.

Add the adoption item to your roadmap.

Assign the adoption item to a manager.

Set a deadline of January 31, 2026 for adoption.

Security:

Adoption Planning
domain in the Adoption functional area.

Workday What’s New
domain in the System functional area.

Access the

Adoption Planning

report.

Click

Create from What’s New

Enter these values for the filter options:

From Date	2025-03-14
To Date	2025-09-12
Functional Area	Benefits
Exclude Items with Linked Adoption Items	Select the check box.

column, select

and enter:
