Enable AI-Generated Translations in Message Builder Templates

Set up security for Message Builder. See Steps: Set Up Message Builder.
You can use generative AI to translate message body text and email subject fields in Message Builder templates. If your organization’s subscription service agreement is UMSA, AI-generated translation is automatically available for you to enable on the
Edit Tenant Setup - System
task. If your organization’s subscription service agreement is MSA, you must manually opt-in to the feature before enabling it on the
Edit Tenant Setup - System
task.
  1. To determine if you need to opt into the feature, check your
    Subscription Service Agreement
    value on your Workday Community Profile:
    1. Select your profile avatar on Community.
    2. Select
      Profile
      .
    3. On your profile page, select your organization's name, which is beneath your name and next to your job title.
      • UMSA
        : Feature is automatically available. You can now access the
        Edit Tenant Setup - System
        task to enable it.
      • MSA
        : You must manually opt in.
  2. (MSA Only) Search for the
    Innovation Services And Data Selection Opt-In
    task and, in the
    Cross Application Services
    category, enable
    Globalization Machine Translation (MT) Services
    .
  3. Access the
    Edit Tenant Setup - System
    task.
  4. In the
    Communication Tools Settings
    section, select the
    Enable Machine Translations for Message Builder
    check box.
    For MSA customers, this check box is conditionally disabled if the Globalization ISA is not active.
