FAQ: Legacy Campaign Migration
- Why is my campaign ineligible for migration?
- Campaigns are ineligible if their associated custom report is not enabled for web services. Locate the custom report used by the legacy campaign and select theEnable for Web Servicescheck box.
- Why did my migration fail with a "General Error"?
- The integration system user (ISU) selected during the migration process lacks permissions to access the custom report. Ensure you share the report with the ISU and configure the appropriate security.
- Why can't I find the Migrate Legacy Campaigns to Engagement Builder task?
- Ensure that theMigrate Campaignsdomain is configured and your account is in an authorized security group, such as Implementers or Learning Administrators. Access theActivate Pending Security Policy Changestask to confirm changes.
- Can I migrate campaigns that use standard reports?
- No. TheMigrate Legacy Campaigns to Engagement Buildertask only supports advanced custom report types. You must recreate these audiences as custom reports or manually build the engagement in theEngagement Builderreport.
- Can I report on inactive campaigns that I haven’t migrated to Engagement Builder?
- Yes. You can report on all campaigns, including those with an end date in the past.
- Where do migrated campaigns go?
- Workday removes migrated campaigns from the legacyCampaignsdashboard. You manage them in theEngagement Builderreport.
- Why don't I see any data in the Engagement Builder run logs for my migrated campaign?
- The run logs only record activity that occurs after migration.
- How do I update a message template after migration?
- You cannot change legacy message templates after migration. Migrated engagements with legacy templates display a read-only view of the message contents. Recreate the legacy template or a new template using Notification Designer. See Create and Activate Notification Templates.
- Can I undo a migration?
- No. Migration is a one-way process.
