Why don’t we see new items in the Learning Admin Hub even with a Workday Learning, powered by Sana subscription?: Confirm subscription and tenant linking are complete, the Manage: Learning Native Content
domain is enabled, workers are assigned to a user-based security group with View
and Modify
permissions on that domain, and you completed activating pending security policy changes. Also confirm you completed setting up user Provisioning for Workday Learning, powered by Sana and enabled sync. Work with your deployment manager if the capability isn't active on your tenant. Is Workday Learning, powered by Sana, different from Workday Learning?: Workday Learning, powered by Sana is a unified learning offering that combines Workday Learning’s system of record, compliance, and reporting with Sana’s AI-native authoring and learner experience. Workday no longer sells the legacy Workday Learning SKU to new customers. New purchases use the Workday Learning, powered by Sana SKU.
I enabled the Manage: Learning Native Content domain but I don’t see Learning Content Creator security group in View User-Based Security Group. Is this Workday-delivered or do I create it?: Content creator access is a user-based security group with View
and Modify
permissions on the Manage: Learning Native Content
domain and not a user role. Workday delivers Learning Content Creator security group when implementor setup applies the delivered security configuration. Enabling the domain alone doesn’t create the group. If the group is missing, create a user-based security group and grant the required domain access. See Steps: Set Up Learning Content Creators.
If I’m on the legacy Workday Learning SKU, do I see Sana-related UI changes?: Sana-related UI changes are exclusive to Workday Learning, powered by Sana SKU and affect only customers who purchased or upgraded to that package.
Can the same Sana content be on more than 1 course?: No. You can add an instance of Sana content to only 1 Workday Learning course.
Can a worker with content creator access view another worker’s draft?: With constrained access, workers see only content they own or that was explicitly shared with them. Workers edit in
Sana Create
, not in Workday course tasks.
A worker has the Manage: Learning Native Content domain access but can't open Create Content or preview links in Learning Admin Hub. Why?: Domain access alone doesn't provision the worker for the integrated Sana Learn experience. Complete Steps: Set Up User Provisioning for Workday Learning Powered by Sana, confirm the worker is in the mapped security groups, and verify sync is enabled.
