Steps: Set Up Learning Admin Hub

  • If you have Workday Learning, powered by Sana subscription and want workers to access
    Create and Publish
    under
    Content Management
    , configure
    Manage: Learning Native Content
    for content creators. See Steps: Set Up Learning Content Creators.
  • Security: Configure these domains in the Learning Core functional area for the security groups that access the hub:
    • Learning Administrator:
      Manage: Learning Content
      ,
      Manage: Learning Course Enrollments
      , and
      Set Up: Learning Catalog
      .
    • Learning Trainer:
      Self-Service: Learning Instructor
      and
      Self-Service: On the Job Training
      .
    • Extended Enterprise Administrator:
      Manage: Extended Enterprise
      .
Users see only hub navigation items, tasks, and reports for which they have access.
You can opt in to the
Learning Admin Hub
to replace legacy dashboards with a modern, standardized interface consistent with other Workday hubs. We plan to retire the legacy learning administration dashboards in a future release. Workday recommends that you opt in to the
Learning Admin Hub
.
The
Create and Publish
tab for Sana content capabilities is available only with the Workday Learning, powered by Sana subscription.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Feature Opt-Ins
    report.
  2. Select
    Opt In to Feature
    for the
    Learning Admin Hub
    .
    • On the
      Maintain Hubs
      report, configure the
      Learning Admin Hub
      .
    • You can configure sections and cards to display on overview pages. You can configure only these overview pages using the
      Maintain Hubs
      report:
      Overview
      ,
      Learner Experience
      ,
      Create and Publish
      , and
      Reporting
      . You can't configure other hub pages. Workday automatically delivers navigation items that you can customize.
  3. (Optional) Configure the
    Learning Admin Hub
    as your preferred home page:
    • On your profile, access
      My Account
      .
    • Select
      Change Preferences
      .
    • In the
      Account Preferences
      section, select
      Learning Admin Hu
      b from the
      Preferred Home Page
      prompt.
    Security:
    Worklet General
    domain in the System functional area.
  4. (Optional) Add the
    Learning Admin Hub
    to your global navigation menu or the
    Global Navigation Sidebar
    for quick access:
    • Access the
      Configure Global Navigation Menu
      task.
    • Click
      Add Row
      .
    • Add a
      Menu Item
      for the
      Learning Admin Hub
      .
    • Click
      OK
      .
