- Save Searches for any reports you would like to use for custom sliders.
You can use the Workday-delivered configuration or configure a customized learner experience so learners can access, complete, or view content using:
- Custom links that learners can use to access tasks, custom reports, or external content.
- Spotlight cards that highlight specific content for groups of learners.
- Custom sliders that enable learners to access personalized learning content.
- (Optional) Configure Branding for Learning.Configure your own banner image and header text for the Learning Home page.
- (Optional) Configure Learning Spotlight Cards.Create spotlight cards that direct learners to specific content. Example: A custom report from which they can browse your learning catalog to find content that helps them develop new skills.
- (Optional) Steps: Set Up Learning Paths.Enable learners to create and share personalized learning paths.
- (Optional) Access theCreate Learning Custom Slidertask.Select the saved search that you want to use to display personalized content to learners on Workday Learning homepages.You can use these data sources when creating search reports for custom sliders:

Option Description Page ContentSelect a card that Workday displays to your learners. You can select the order in which your content items display.You can add up to 3 custom sliders to these pages:- Learning Home

To add a slider, selectCustom Slidersand then select the slider you want to display on the page.Condition RuleAdd condition rules to specify who can view external links. Example: Add a condition rule display an external link to managers.OrientationSelect the desired variant for your sliders.After a learner starts consuming the content and its status moves to In Progress, the description on a card is automatically hidden and replaced with a progress indicator.Descriptions only display for assignments; they don’t display if a learner has enrolled in the content, even if the status of the enrollment isNot Started. This behavior applies to both delivered and custom sliders.If you have subscribed for Workday Learning, powered by Sana, you can optionally select a highlighted layout variant for applicable sliders and cards.Task/ Report or External LinkAdd a link that displays on the side panel on theLearning Homepage.Required for GroupsSelect the groups that you want to display the custom slider to. - Enable learners to set their language preferences for the content that appears in learning recommendations.
