Steps: Set Up Connected Absence for Wellness Partners

  • Connect and approve a wellness partner for the
    Connected Absence
     use case.
  • Create a
    SAML SSO
     link.
  • Configure relevant leave types and business processes.
  • Security:
    Manage: Wellness Partners
     domain in the
    Workday Wellness
     functional area.
You can integrate Workday absence management with wellness partners to route employees to external partner systems based on the selected leave type. After the partner initiates the setup via API, you must associate a
SAML SSO
 link to enable the routing and synchronization of Claim ID and Claim Status updates.
  1. Access the
    Manage Wellness Partners
     task.
  2. On the
    Wellness Partners
     tab, click
    View Details
     for the connected partner.
  3. Click
    View Connected Absence Setup
    .
  4. Click
    Manage Related SAML SSO Link
     for the setup requiring configuration.
  5. In the
    SAML SSO Link
     field, select the previously created SAML SSO link.
  6. Click
    OK
    .
Workday automatically routes workers to the partner system when they select an applicable leave type during the
Request Absence
 workflow. If a worker attempts to submit the request internally, Workday triggers a hard validation error.
Initiate an absence request for a worker to verify the dynamic routing and SAML SSO link.
