Configure Link to Third-Party Travel Site

You can configure the
Overview
page of the Expenses Hub to display a section with a direct link from Workday to your preferred third-party travel booking tool.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Quicklinks
    task.
  2. Add a new row and enter the
    Name
    and
    URL
    of your chosen third-party travel site. Example:
    Egencia UK; https://www.egencia.co.uk/en
    .
  3. Access the
    Maintain Hubs
    task.
  4. Click the
    Add Custom Action Section
    button.
  5. On the
    Expenses Hub
    row, select
    Action
    View Overview Configuration
    .
  6. Click the
    Manage Quick Actions
    button.
  7. Click the
    Create Quick Actions
    section button.
  8. Enter a
    Name
    . Example:
    Travel Tools
    .
  9. Under the
    Actions
    column of the
    Quick Actions Section
    grid, click the drop down arrow and click
    Edit
    .
  10. On the
    Edit Quick Actions Detail
    page, add a new row.
  11. From the
    Action
    column prompt on the new row, select
    Create Quick Action
    .
  12. Enter a
    Label
    . Example:
    Egencia UK
    .
  13. From the
    Condition Rule
    prompt, select
    1+1 Always True
    .
  14. From the
    External Link
    prompt, select the travel site quick link you created. Example:
    Egencia UK
    .
  15. Click the
    View Overview Configuration
    button.
  16. Add a new row to the
    Configured Section and Cards
    grid.
  17. On the
    Section
    column,
    Custom Action Sections
    Travel Tools
    .
On the
Overview
page of the Expenses Hub, Workday displays a section with a button linking to your chosen third-party site.
