Reconcile AI Matches in Bulk

  • Set up AI Bank Reconciliation: Exception Matching. See Steps: Set Up AI Bank Reconciliation.
  • Generate AI matches using the
    Run Bank Statement Auto Reconciliation
     or
    Schedule Auto Bank Reconciliation
     task.

To save time when you need to manually reconcile large volumes of unreconciled bank statement lines or reconcilable items after running automatic reconciliation tasks, you can reconcile AI matches in bulk.
  1. Access the
    Mass Bank Reconciliation from AI Matches
     task.
  2. Select a bank account and other filtering criteria as required.
  3. (Optional) Clear the
    Include Conflicting Suggestions
     check box.
    When you clear the check box, Workday filters out any suggestions that share the same bank statement line or reconcilable item. Example: You first reconcile AI matches that don't have any conflicts in bulk, and then reconcile AI matches for conflicting items individually.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
  5. Select AI matches.
    You can select up to 200 AI matches.
  6. Click
    OK
    .
  7. Take 1 of these actions:
    Selection
    Action
    Includes conflicting suggestions.
    Select a single AI match per conflict group.
    Doesn't include any conflicting suggestions.
    Click
    Done
    .
Workday accepts:
  • Only the suggestions that you select to resolve conflicts in case of conflicts.
  • All suggestions that you select in the absence of conflicts.
For all accepted AI matches, Workday:
  • Reconciles the bank statement lines and reconcilable items included in the AI matches.
  • Sets the AI match status of the suggestions to
    Accepted
    .
  • Sets the AI match status of other suggestions that include at least 1 bank statement line or reconcilable item from the accepted suggestions to
    Not Available
    .
If there were conflicts, resume reconciling AI matches individually or in bulk.
