Example Steps: Create a SF 50 Conditional Data Display for the AUO Nature of Action

This example illustrates how to capture the value of the
AUO - Current
report field in block 12 (Total Salary) of SF 50, and the value of the
AUO - Proposed
report field in block 20 (Total Salary/Award) of SF 50 in a worker's PAR event.
You want to tie an Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO) allowance plan to the
AUO
nature of action in Workday, and set up condition rules so that the AUO percentages display on blocks 12 and 20 of SF 50 when a worker's compensation event triggers a
Personnel Action Request
event.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Federal Field Values
    task.
Select your administratively uncontrollable overtime allowance plan for the
    AUO
    field.
  2. Access the
    Maintain Staffing Field Defaults
    task.
    In the
    Personnel Action Request
tab, create a new row for the
    12. Total Salary
    grid.
  3. Select
Create Personnel Action Request Condition Rule
    in the
    Condition Rule
    column. Enter
    Assigned AUO %

    My Tasks
    item.
  10. In the
    My Tasks
item for the PAR event, select
    818 - AUO
    in the
5-A and 5-B: Nature of Action
    field in the
    First Action
    section.
Blocks you configured to display as empty for the AUO NOA code now display as empty.
  11. Select
