Add Relative Time Periods

Add Relative Time Periods

  • An existing Google Sheets report with Adaptive Planning data.
  • Security:
    Access to Workday for Google Sheets
    permission.
You can add time as absolute (fixed) or relative (offset from
Report Date
). Relative elements stay in the builder as stratum plus offset. You can move or remove them the same way as other elements under
Time
.
  1. Open an existing Adaptive Planning report in Google Sheets.
  2. In the Workday add-on, add
    Time
    .
  3. Select the
    Make Relative to Report Date
     check box.
    Leave it cleared to add absolute time. The time tree matches the instance calendar.
  4. Select the time periods to add.
  5. Click
    Refresh
    .
The builder lists relative elements under
Time
 with labels such as
Quarter (-2)
. The sheet shows resolved period labels.
