Reference: Toolbar Buttons in Reporting

This reference describes the icons available from the matrix, model, and transaction report builders.

Report Type
Save
If you previously saved the report, immediately saves the report. Otherwise, the Save Report dialog opens for you to set the save as options.

Save as
Enables you to rename the report and change output, sharing options, and location.

Run as HTML
Displays the report data using HTML format.

Run as HTML in a new window
Displays report data using HTML format in a new page.

Run as Excel
Generates an .xlsx file that you can open to view the report data in Excel. You need the
Download to Excel
 permission for this option.

Run as PDF
Displays the report data using PDF format. You can download the PDF document to your local machine.

Save and run
Saves changes and runs the report based on the output settings that prepopulate. If you're saving for the first time, a Save Report dialog displays before running the report.

Show sheets
Hides or displays the spreadsheet tab axis at the bottom of the page for repeating reports.

Narrows a report to a particular subset of data.

Report properties
Enables you to manage report properties such as:
  • Display properties for the overall report.
  • Style properties for headers and body rows.
  • Conditional formatting based on report values.
  • Formatting for numbers.
  • Print properties

Edit properties
Enables you to manage element properties such as:
  • Rename the row or column title.
  • Define the presentation of an element, such as column width, header style, and body style.
  • Define numeric formatting such as presentation of zeros or negative numbers.
  • Define the presentation of a date element in transaction reports only.
  • Select a currency type in transaction reports only. The option is available on total rows for numeric values with a currency.
