When you use a version as an element, you can select to offset its data according to the report time element. The options available depend on the instance calendar setup.

Example: The version element is Budget 2021 and you offset the version backward by 1 year. The report displays data from 2020. You then offset the version forward by 1 year, and the report displays data from 2022.

From the main menu, click

Reports

Select a report with a version element.

From the viewer toolbar, click

Edit

to open the report builder.

Right-click the version element that you want to offset and select

Properties

As you complete the

Version Options

, consider:

Option	Description
Stratum	Select the time period by which to offset the version.
Offset	Based on the stratum, enter the offset amount.

Select whether to shift the version data backward or forward relative to the time element.
