Enable Multi-Select for Report Parameters

  • You have a matrix report with any of these elements types as filters:
    • Account
    • Level
    • Dimensions
    • Attributes
  • Ensure multiple values or options are available from the parameters that are connected to the filters.
  • Security:
    • Create Personal Reports
       permission
    • Create Shared Reports
       permission
    • Access Reports
       permission
For any new parameters you create from filters, the
Allow multi-select
 option is auto-selected. For parameters you previously created from filters on existing reports, you can change the parameter configuration to multi-select. Multi-select enables you to:
  • Display parameters prompts with multiple options.
  • Allow users to select multiple parameter options and view summary data.
  1. Select
    Reports
     from main menu.
  2. Run an existing matrix report and click
    Edit
    .
  3. Right-click the parameter and select
    Properties
    .
  4. Check the
    Allow multi-select
     option and click
    Apply
    .
