Concept: CDC Drill Through to Data

Cloud Data Connect (CDC) provides the ability to drill through to data stored in Cloud Data Warehouses. This enables you to to load only aggregate data into Adaptive, keeping contextual data in the Cloud Data Warehouse, with real-time access with live queries. This approach further optimizes integrations and data movement by:

Loading only the necessary aggregate data for planning into Adaptive.
Reducing the complexity of integrations and reducing integration connection points.
Maintaining real-time access to the contextual and granular details within your Cloud Data Warehouse.

CDC Drill Through supports:

CDC managed pipelines (not CDC connections managed in Design Integrations).
Standard and cube sheets.
Only cells at levels, accounts, and dimensions that are leaf-level.
Displaying of first 1000 rows in pop-up window.
Exporting up to 20MB to Excel (~400,000 rows)

To use CDC Drill Through to Data, you must configure a pipeline with Data Source and Drill Through tables, and connect the version and sheet. For more information, see Set Up Cloud Data Connect for Integration Pipeline
