Connect an On-Prem Data Connector to a Regional Authentication and API Gateway

  • Verify you installed the On-Prem Data Connector Manager on your local computer.
  • Obtain the username and password for an Adaptive Planning user on your instance.
  • Security:
    Data Designer
     permission.
You can connect an On-Prem Data Connector to a regional authentication and API gateway by updating the
Adaptive Admin Server URL
 and
Adaptive Signin Server URL
 in the On-Prem Data Connector on your local computer.
Based on the location of your Adaptive Planning instance, your authorization URLs and API endpoints can vary. For more information, see Reference: Adaptive Planning Authentication URLs and IP Addresses.
Connect Data Agent to a Regional Authentication and API Gateway
  1. Launch the
    On-Prem Data Connector
    on your local computer.
    For On-Prem Data Connector versions 7.1.44 and older, launch the
    On-Prem Data Connector
     on your local computer.
  2. Select
    Diagnose and Configure Network
     in the sign-in dialog.
  3. Select the
    Cluster URLs
     tab.
  4. Enter the new URL in the
    Adaptive Admin Server URL
     and
    Adaptive Signin Server URL
     fields.
  5. Select
    Apply Cluster Settings
    .
  6. Close the
    Diagnose and Configure Network
     dialog.
  7. Enter your username and password in the
    On-Prem Data Connector login
     sign-in dialog and sign in.
