Manage Adaptive Planning Hubs
Security:
Edit Hubs
permission. As administrators and hub creators you can manage existing hubs to keep their content, layout, and access up to date. Without disrupting the active hub users, you can accomplish these tasks:
- Edit hub details and access
- Update pages and widgets
- Clone or retire hubs
- Monitor hub publication status
Consider cloning hubs when:
- Creating department-specific variants (Finance Hub – North America and “Finance Hub – EMEA”).
- Using a hub as a template for new functions.
When updating hubs, consider these best practices:
- Use Checked Out mode for large content or layout changes to prevent disruptions.
- Clone before editing shared hubs used across multiple teams.
- Regularly review visibility to ensure correct access by user type.
- Archive stale hubs to keep navigation clean and prevent confusion.
Managed hubs remain accurate, secure, and relevant to the business process. Administrators maintain full control over what users see, without requiring developer or instance-level intervention. Hubs can evolve over time, scaling from pilot use cases to enterprise-wide adoption.
