Create a Scatter Chart

  • Create Perspectives, or have edit access to shared perspectives.
  • Security
    Edit Dashboards
     permission.
A
scatter chart
 visualizes trends as data points, where the x-axis is time or dimension.
Scatter charts are similar to line charts except they don't have line segments connecting their points.
  1. Click
    Edit
     to put your dashboard in edit mode.
  2. On the left panel, click the
    Charts
     tab, then drag and drop the
    Scatter Chart
     from the Charts in the left panel into the dashboard.
  3. Give the scatter chart a name in the
    Appearance Settings
     tab.
  4. Click the
    Data Settings
     tab and select an account to plot.
  5. Click
    Time Settings
     tab and adjust the time settings if needed.
