Steps: Set Up Parallel Stages
- Configure theJob Applicationbusiness process. See Steps: Configure the Job Application Business Process.
- Confirm that your subprocessCompletionsteps are also yourMake Decisionsteps on theJob Applicationbusiness process.
Parallel stages improve recruiter efficiency by enabling candidates to be in more than 1 stage in the job application process at the same time. However, a candidate can only receive 1 offer or employment agreement at a time.
- Access theMaintain Feature Opt-Insreport.Enable theDynamic Parallel Stagesfeature.You can't disableDynamic Parallel Stagesonce you enable it.
- For theJob Applicationbusiness process, add security groups to theInitiate Parallel Stepaction.
- For each primary stage from which you want to initiate parallel stages, complete thePossible Parallel Stepssection on theJob Applicationbusiness process.
- (Optional) Access theMaintain Business Process Definition Selectiontask.To enable parallel stages on existing job applications, clickEnable Use Latest Dynamic Business Processfor theJob Applicationbusiness process type.
To initiate the Background Check stage once a candidate accepts a verbal offer, configure these stages to run at the same time:
- OfferorEmployee Agreement(Primary)
- Background Check(Parallel)
