Create an Azure Blob Connection

Security:
Prism: Manage Connection
domain in the Prism Analytics functional area.
You can connect Prism Analytics to Azure Blob for use with data change tasks, making it easier for you to import CSV files from external sources. You must create an Azure Blob connection before using it as a source in a data change task.
  1. Navigate to the
    Data Catalog
    .
  2. Select
    Create
    Connection
    .
  3. Select
    Azure Blob
    .
  4. Enter these values:
    Option
    Description
    Name
    The connection name must be unique in the Data Catalog. Workday displays this name in the Data Catalog and when you select a connection in a data change task.
    Description
    Workday recommends using the description to define the use of the connection and help differentiate between different connections.
    Authentication Type
    Select how to connect to Azure Blob:
    • OAuth 2.0 with Client Credentials
      . Workday connects to Azure Blob using the client ID, client secret, and Azure tenant that you configured in Azure Active Directory (AD) B2C for the app.
    • OAuth 2.0 with JWT
      . Workday connects to Azure Blob using the client ID and Azure tenant.
  5. Use the
    Test Connection
    button if you want to verify that Workday can connect to Azure Blob using the connection information you configured.
Workday displays the Azure Blob connection on the
Connections
tab of the
Data Catalo
g report. You can right-click the connection to view or edit it.
