Example: Create a Local Administrator Access Control Group
This example illustrates how to set up an Access Control group that provides local administrator access.
Your organization has multiple entities who wish to use the tool separately. A Human Resources partner from each organization needs access to:
- View the dashboard of the entity that they manage.
- Import and manage their employee records.
- Configure and launch their survey.
- Go to theAccess Controlsection in theAdministrationarea.
- ClickAdd group.
- Name the group. Example: Local HR Leaders.
- In theAccesssection, selectManaged employees.
- In thePeoplesection, selectChoose manually.
- In theQuestion setssection, select the question sets local administrators should have access to.
- In theSettingssection, expandAccess statistics.
- Enable theAccess statisticssetting, and any other necessary settings.
- Expand theEmployeessection.
- EnableView employees,Update employees,Backdate employee data,Administer employees,Segment management accesssettings.
- Expand theAdministersection.
- Enable theManage schedulessetting, andManage brandingsetting, if needed.
- Expand and enable any necessary settings in theActions,Comments,Notifications, andImprovesections.
- ClickCreate group.
Assign each local administrator the settings that they need to manage. Add the local administrators to the group and notify them.
