Example: Backdating Employee Segment Values in Bulk

This example contains instructions on how to backdate the segment values for a group of employees in bulk directly on Peakon.
The London office based in King's Cross recently split up into 2 locations:
King's Cross
and
Canary Wharf
. You created a new
Office Location
segment for
Canary Wharf
and already moved employees to it. The employees remaining in the King's Cross office stayed in the original segment.
Later you decide that you need to compare historical data for both location segments. The
Canary Wharf
segment should function as though these employees have always been part of that segment.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Employees
    .
  2. Using the left side filters, select
    Office Location
    .
  3. Set it to Canary Wharf.
  4. Select all employees.
  5. Click
    Edit
    .
  6. Click the small clock icon next to the
    Office Location
    field.
  7. Select
    Start
    .
  8. Click
    Backdate
    .
  9. Click
    Review changes
    , then
    Save changes
    .
The Canary Wharf segment will contain all historical data to the start of time. The King's Cross segment will only contain historical data from its own employees only.
