Example: Bulk Update Employees' Survey Inclusion
This topic explains how to update the Survey inclusion status of a group of employees in a single task.
The Survey inclusion checkbox determines whether an employee is included in surveys. For more information, refer to Concept: Setting Employees Inactive.
You can bulk update the survey inclusion status via the user interface or using a CSV file with the
Import from Excel
tool.- Security:Administratoraccess.
- Update employeesaccess control permission.
Update Survey Inclusion via user interface
- Go to , either on theCompanycontext or the segment you wish to update.
- Filter your search to the group of users you wish to update.
- Select all employees, or only those that need updating.
- SelectEditon the top right corner of the page.
- Navigate to the bottom of the page and select theSurvey Inclusionfield.
- Select or clear the checkbox as required
- Save changes.
Update Survey Inclusion via Excel import
- Go to , either on theCompanycontext or the segment you wish to update.
- Filter your search and select the group of employees you wish to mark as inactive.
- Exportthe list of employees.
- Downloadthe generated export and open the Excel file.
- Delete all columns, exceptEmployee IDorEmail,First name,Last nameandSurvey Inclusion.
- Update the cells under theSurvey Inclusioncolumn fromEnabledorDisabledand save changes on the file.
- In Peakon, choose theImport, thenChoose Excel File.
- Once done, clickSee resultfor a summary and an error log.
- (Optional) ClickDownload logto review any errors in more detail.
- ClickOkay, I'm doneonce you've reviewed the changes to go back to theEmployeespage.
