Delete Historical Survey Data
Administrator
access.Administrators have the ability to delete historical survey data, including employee scores, comments, or both, for specific survey rounds.
You can delete data for 1 or more survey rounds and multiple employees in a single action, based on the organization's needs and internal policies. We might impose limits based on the employee count and the number of deletions permitted per action. It’s not possible to delete survey data for open rounds.
- Go to .
- Search for the employees.
- Select the checkbox next to the employee(s) whose historical survey data you want to delete.
- SelectDeletion options, then chooseHistorical survey data.
- Select the survey rounds for which you want to delete data. Choose whether to delete employee scores and comments, or only comments.
- Confirmyour choices.
The selected historical survey data (scores and comments) are permanently deleted for the chosen employee(s) and survey rounds. Deleting data may take time to reflect in dashboards. Some focus areas will be incorrect and will need recalculation, depending on how much data is deleted. Scores will change, especially if a large amount of data is removed.
Comments will be removed, affecting related topics, which will need recalculation. Be sure to review your selections carefully before confirming to avoid unintended data deletion.
When an employee’s response is deleted, they are removed from the participation rate. However, the employee remains part of the target population and is still included in the overall participation. Data deletion does not remove the individual from the surveyed group. Example: if a survey is sent to 100 employees and 75 respond, participation is 75%. If one of those responses is later deleted, participation adjusts to 74%, not 74 out of 99, because the employee is still considered part of the surveyed group.
