Concept: Combination Attributes
Combination attributes enable organizations to combine 2 option type attributes to create intersecting segments automatically. You can benefit from combination attributes to report on more nuanced demographic data, which you might not have outside Peakon. Example:
Department by Region

. Combination attributes are not visible on employee records in the page. You can view combination attributes on the Heat Map.

Setting a combination attribute as the parent attribute in a hierarchy. | Peakon sets the combination attribute as the child attribute of the 2 main attributes used. Example: You created a combination attribute between Country and Local Office . The Office x Local Office attribute is a child attribute of both Country and Local Office .
It’s also possible to set parent attributes to the combination attribute, however the combination attribute itself can't be a parent attribute in a hierarchy. |

Example
A local finance leader manages the Finance business unit in Germany, but doesn't have any reporting lines. Giving them access to
Finance (Department)
or Germany (Country)
segments would display employees outside of their area, so either option isn’t ideal. You can set up a combination attribute between Business Unit
and Country
, and assign the Finance in Germany
segment to the leader.
