Create a New Survey Schedule

. A survey schedule is the mechanism that enables you to configure and send surveys to employees. You can create new survey schedules by using different segment targeting. It's possible to create 1 survey schedule per target population.
The dashboard context you're in, while creating the survey schedule, plays a part in schedule targeting. You can configure your context selection in the top left corner of the Peakon user interface. See Concept: Dashboard Contexts.
If you're a system administrator with access the overall company context, you can create a survey schedule for any segment.
If you're a segment manager (Example: a department, specific region or an entity segment), you can create a survey schedule for the segment you manage. If your organization has created an attribute hierarchy, you may also be able to create schedules for your managed segment's child segments.
The survey schedule that you create will automatically set the segment of your context as the target population. Example: If your context is set to EMEA (Region), the target population of the schedule you create is the EMEA (Region) segment. This also applies to system administrators when their context switcher is set to a segment.
If using Onboarding and Exit questions, consider creating a separate schedule. Onboarding and Exit Questions with question timings only apply to the survey schedule when the survey frequency is set to weekly. If you have them enabled and change the frequency, it will disable these questions on your schedule.
- Go to .
- ClickAdd schedule.
- SetTarget population. If you're viewing your account from the context of a specific segment, the target population is already set to the segment context you're in, and you automatically skip this step.
- (Optional) Set further targeting inOnly includingandExcludingfields.
- ClickCreate schedule.
You've now created the schedule, however it will remain dormant until you set the survey start date and enable data collection.
