Example: Collect Working Preferences Using Attribute Data Collection

This example illustrates how to collect data on working pattern preferences for your employees. You can use this data to plan office space requirements.
As you plan the office space requirements in your organization, you want to gather data on your employee's current working week. You've identified 4 patterns:
  • Full week in the office
  • 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
  • 2 days in the office, 3 days at home
  • Full week remote
  1. Navigate to
    Attributes
    within the
    Administration
    area.
  2. Click
    Add attribute
    .
  3. Enter
    Typical Work Week
    .
  4. Set
    Attribute
    type to
    Option
    .
  5. Click
    Save changes
    .
  6. Within the new attribute, click
    Add segment
    .
    1. Enter
      Full week in the office
      and click
      Add
      .
    2. Enter
      3 days in the office, 2 days at home
      and click
      Add
      .
    3. Enter
      2 days in the office, 3 days at home
      and click
      Add
      .
    4. Enter
      Full week remote
      and click
      Add
      .
  7. Navigate to
    Schedules
    within the
    Administration
    section.
  8. Click
    View
    on your survey schedule.
  9. Select the
    Attributes
    tab.
  10. In the
    Select attributes
    section, select the
    Typical Work Week
    attribute that you created in steps 2-5.
  11. Set employee response to
    Optional
    or
    Required
    .
  12. Click
    Add attribute
    .
  13. (Optional) Add a customized message:
    Please help us plan office space requirements by providing your typical work week preference
    . Add any necessary translations in the
    Message
    section.
Employees can select their typical work week preference before completing the survey.
