Eligible customers can now upgrade to the Flexible Listening Question Model themselves, from the administration area of Workday Peakon Employee Voice. Eligibility depends on having no existing survey data or configuration to migrate.

You can now upgrade to the flexible listening question model without help from Workday. Eligible customers see a new banner in the Administration area with a button that starts the upgrade.

Your organization is eligible when it has no surveys run, including test surveys, no custom questions, no custom translations, no category level access control categorization, no company actions, no improve items on a driver, and no impact metrics on a driver.

Workday emails the customers that qualify.

Active customers, where an admin signed in to Workday Peakon Employee Voice within the last 3 months, can upgrade from the banner when they're ready.

Inactive customers, where an admin hasn't signed in within the last 3 months, also see the banner with the option to upgrade. Workday will contact these customers with the option to opt out of the upgrade for now, and emails them the opt-out steps and timelines. Workday migrates these customers to the flexible listening question model unless they opt out.

You can't undo the upgrade once it's complete.You can choose not to upgrade now, but the upgrade becomes a requirement at a later date. Customers that don't meet the eligibility criteria become eligible for the upgrade in 27R1.

With this release, Workday is refreshing the Peakon user experience by adopting parts of the latest Workday Canvas Design System. We update our visual assets and styling tokens to align with the "All in on Workday" strategy, ensuring a more modern and cohesive experience across our application.

We deliver several visual and structural enhancements to the Peakon interface:

Color Updates
: Updated color palettes that aligns with the new Workday Brand.
Hero Score Style
: Removal of the inaccessible hover state of the hero score.
System Icons
: We now use the updated Workday Canvas system icons throughout Peakon.
Graphic Icons
: We transition towards Workday Canvas expressive icon style for illustrative icons, particularly noticeable in the Administration area.
Driver Icons
: We refresh the driver icons to align with the Workday Canvas expressive icon style.
