Peakon Benchmarks
We update industry benchmarks on Workday Peakon Employee Voice with the most recent data from 2026 H1. You can access our benchmarking resources here.
There can be small changes in the external benchmarks on your company dashboard.
Samoan, Sinhala and Tongan Survey Languages
We expand the availability of employee survey locales to include Samoan, Sinhala, and Tongan. This enhancement allows you to reach a more diverse workforce by providing survey content in these additional languages.
We deliver 3 new locales for employee surveys to help you support your global workforce:
- Samoan: Available as a raw machine-translated locale.
- Sinhala: Available as a human-edited translated locale.
- Tongan: Available as a raw machine-translated locale.
Semantic Search Infrastructure Update
Coming Soon.
With an upcoming release, Workday updates the underlying infrastructure for semantic search in Workday Peakon to improve system reliability and search performance. We are migrating our search sub-processor infrastructure away from Pinecone to an AWS-hosted OpenSearch vector database to provide a more robust and scalable search experience. The OpenSearch database will be co-located with the Peakon platform in AWS.
We will update the search infrastructure for Workday Peakon by migrating from the Pinecone sub-processor to OpenSearch technology on AWS, co-located with the Peakon platform.
This change is an internal infrastructure migration that impacts how and where semantic search queries are processed within the application. While the user interface remains unchanged, this update ensures that Peakon uses our latest supported sub-processor framework.
Semantic Search will now be available to all customers as a core part of the Workday Peakon service.
