Schedules and Algorithm Enhancements for Flexible Listening
With this release, we simplify the underlying algorithm by removing main question and sub-driver frequency requirements, allowing for more tailored survey cadences. This update includes a new summary sidebar that provides real-time visibility into estimated survey length and completion times, ensuring your schedules align with organizational recommendations.
Additionally, you can now choose between automated frequencies or a manual mode for curated, campaign-style surveys, supported by a more intuitive layout and bulk configuration controls. This work is part of our flexible listening release. These enhancements are initially available for new customer instances created on or after 31st March 2026. Customers with instances created before this date will gain access during the 26R2 and 27R1 release cycles.
- Flexible Question Control: We simplify the algorithm by removing fixed frequency requirements, allowing you to set individual cadences for every question, including a "Never" option.
- New Summary Sidebar: A real-time sidebar displays active question counts and predicted completion times, with visual indicators to help you align survey length with Workday recommendations.
- Manual Configuration Mode: We deliver an update to manual mode that enables you to explicitly select which questions appear in specific rounds, ideal for curated or campaign-style surveys.
- Streamlined UI: We introduce a more intuitive layout that groups question sets logically and provides inline alerts to highlight coverage gaps or configuration errors.
What Do I Need to Do?
For new customer instances created on or after March 31, 2026, these features are available by default. For existing customers, we will provide a transition timeline during the 26R2 and 27R1 release cycles. When you gain access, you can use the new Summary Sidebar
to audit your current survey lengths. If you wish to move away from automated delivery for specific surveys, you can toggle your question sets to Manual Mode
within the schedule configuration settings. What Happens if I do Nothing?
If you do nothing, your existing survey schedules and frequencies will continue to function as currently configured. For existing customers, your instance will remain on the classic/legacy question model until your scheduled migration window in a future release.
