AI Translations and AI Comment Summarization
We deliver these comment enhancements powered by generative artificial intelligence (GenAI):
AI Translations - Comment translations into dashboard language
AI Comment Summarization - Comment summarization of all comments and by scoring groups
We gradually release AI Translations from 26th of February over 5 business days, followed by a 5 business day gradual release of AI Comment Summarization until 11th March.
AI Translations
The new AI Translations feature enhances the existing comment translation functionality, allowing users to set their preference to either automatically translate comments or manually translate each comment into the users’ dashboard language.
AI Translations supports all available dashboard languages, and automatically detects the user’s dashboard language to use for translations.
Only the comment text itself (without any additional data related to the comment) is processed to generate the translations. To learn more about AI Translations, see the AI Fact Sheet.
AI Comment Summarization
AI Comment Summarization allows users to generate an ad-hoc comment summary on any dashboard context and filtered view, where 10 or more comments are available. This comment summary functionality is available to all users with access to comments.
Additionally, AI Comment Summarization generates a comment summary for each scoring group (0-6, 7-8, and 9-10) at the end of each survey round, when 10 or more comments are present within the aggregation period and there are enough new responses that have met the visibility requirements in the survey round.
Each scoring group can receive up to 3 bulletpoint paragraphs summarizing the main themes in the comments. Summaries by scoring groups only use driver comments that contain scores.
Comment summaries by scoring group are available to all users with access to comments, on managed segments (All Reports and Direct Reports segments) and on the main company context.
AI Comment Summarization can only process English comments and generate English summaries. By enabling AI Translations, Peakon translates all comments into English (thereby increasing the subset of comments contributing to summaries), and displays resulting summaries in the user’s own dashboard language.
To learn more about AI Comment Summarization, see the AI Fact Sheet.
Survey comments now automatically translate into the user's dashboard language. Users can choose between the
Auto-translate comments
(default) and Manually translate individual comments
options in their personal Profile
settings.The
Auto-translate comments
option translates all comments, with a Show original
button for each comment. The Manually translate individual comments
option displays comments in their source language, with a Translate to [dashboard language]
(Example: Translate to English) button for each comment. At this time, the Excel comment export only contains the source comments and English translations.
The
All comments
page now displays a Summarize comments
button, which enables users to generate ad-hoc comment summaries on dashboard contexts and/or filtered views. Clicking the button displays a slide-in panel with the comment summary and details of the selected dashboard context (Example: Marketing [Department]) and any filtered view (Example: NPS Category - Detractors & Question set - Health & Wellbeing). You can click the Copy summary
option and save a copy outside of Peakon, as these summaries are not stored in Peakon and cannot be retrieved.Lastly, we add an
AI summary
page in the left sidebar within the Comments
section, which contains the scoring group summaries with a Copy summary
option under each summary. Scoring group summaries will generate after the next survey round.Confirmation Modal Accessibility Enhancement
We enhance the accessibility and usability of the Peakon
Submit answer
confirmation modal content when zoomed to 400%.Now, low vision users can interact seamlessly with the contents of the page, ensuring that they can fully engage with the page at higher zoom levels.
The confirmation modal for submitting survey answers is updated for smooth adjustment across screen sizes and zoom levels, and ensures the content remains fully functional and accessible at any zoom level.
Customize Reminder Emails
With this release, we enable survey configurators to customize reminder emails, providing more flexibility.
We add a
Customize reminder email
section on the Email
tab of each survey schedule, enabling you to customize the email subject line, email text and relevant translations. This section mirrors the existing Customize initial survey email
section and functionality, including the ability to add markdown syntax.Activate a Question in Peakon
We simplify the process of including questions. Instead of using a toggle, you can now enable question sets directly within the
Edit
menu.We relocate the functionality to enable and disable survey questions to the editing panel.
To activate a question, go to
Edit
on the specific question, select the Activate question
checkbox and save your changes.Dutch and Polish Translation Enhancements
