September 2023 Release Notes
Demo Dashboards Retirement
With this release, we provide a dashboard update by removing a feature with low usage and high maintenance effort. By deprecating this feature, we can continue focusing on building and improving features that provide value.
We remove the 'View demo dashboard' option from the context switcher in Peakon dashboards.
Enable Peakon Custom Overrides for Phone Numbers
With this update we enhance your ability to sync employee phone data between Workday and Peakon, enabling greater flexibility and accuracy.
You can now configure custom overrides for the Phone Number field using the
phoneNumber
prefix to override all existing phone settings when you map employee data between Workday and Peakon. If the custom override fails to find a value, the sync resorts to standard mappings based on the phone number integration settings. If the custom override is set and returns a value, it ignores configuration settings.Clickable Names on Segment and Values Cards
We make the names of segment and values cards clickable, enabling you to easily access the dashboards of segments and values questions. This update is a continuation of our previous accessibility efforts on driver cards, providing a more consistent user experience. The keyboard focus is now on the card's title only, enabling voice assistants to perform better for keyboard users.
Survey Flexibility and Participation Enhancements
With this update, you can now switch Engagement, Open-ended questions and Values on and off on selected survey schedules, giving you the flexibility to run standalone surveys targeting specific segments of your business or run your questions at different cadences to suit your needs. This provides greater focus on specific question sets, enables more flexibility in the timing and targeting of survey rounds, and improves the relevance and accuracy of the data you collect while avoiding recalculation of your dashboards and scores that might contain other active question sets.
Example: You can schedule Engagement, H&W, and D&I question sets monthly and schedule separate, quarterly T&C survey rounds that target your accounting department only.

Question Sets Included in Round End. | On Heatmaps analysis for each question set, when you select Difference to round from the View dropdown menu, you can now view whether your selected question set was included as part of the survey round. We also add a validation on the Round end date that informs you when you select a previous survey round that didn't contain the selected question set. |
Validation For Question Set Switched Off But Enabled in Schedule. | We add a validation warning requiring you to switch on individual questions when they're switched off on the Questions settings page before you can add these question sets to a scheduled survey:

View Values on Question Scores Page
We continue to enhance the user experience when you view survey scores, enabling greater visibility for your survey data.
With this update, you can now view Values on the Question score pages as well as on the Engagement front page.
Onboarding Tour of Priorities
With this release, we continue improving the user experience on manager dashboards by encouraging leaders to manage the driver priorities for their team.
We add these enhancements to the product tour for managers that have the 'Access to manage priorities' permission enabled:
- Updated copy for the product tour slide that highlights the card of a priority driver on the main dashboard. The update will display for new dashboard users, or existing users if they trigger the product tour in the help menu.
- New product tour slide on suggested priority driver dashboards that highlights the ability to accept or reject the suggestion. The update will display only once for new and existing dashboard users if the driver card has a call to action.
The copy on both slides highlights the fact that setting a priority will pin it to your dashboard and will become visible to your team on shared and personal dashboards.
